Restricting the review to Ethiopian studies increases national relevance but limits regional and global comparability. The review is registered in PROSPERO under registration number CRD420251118982. The review will follow PRISMA Protocol guidance and use established quality appraisal and evidence grading methods. Restriction to English-language published literature may introduce publication bias and exclude relevant non-English or programme data. Only peer-reviewed systematic reviews and meta-analyses published in English within the previous 10 years will be included.
