Under-Represented Populations

Policymakers engage with implementation science differently from researchers or practitioners. Implementation challenges may differ substantially in low- and middle-income country contexts. Competencies tailored to policymakers remain limited. It is unclear how well existing frameworks reflect LMIC priorities and constraints. Excluding grey literature may miss unpublished or practice-based programmes. English-only eligibility may miss frameworks from non-English-speaking or low-resource contexts.
