Usual Care

Combined TMB was associated with lower postpartum depressive symptoms and fewer depression events than CONCEPTION usual care. Routine care does not include a multidisciplinary team, case conferencing, scheduled home visits, or AI-assisted decision support. The control group receives standard community-based care as currently delivered in Guangzhou. Control participants receive locally available weight management, which varies across and within Denmark and the UK. Standard community-based care is the comparison condition in the trial. The investigators do not control the content, delivery, frequency, or duration of therapy in usual care. The usual care comparison group came from the CONCEPTION prospective pan-Canadian perinatal cohort. Standard community-based care is expected to vary by location and infant need. TMB assessment occurred at three months postpartum, while CONCEPTION assessment occurred at two months postpartum.
