Rainfall showed its strongest inverse association with asthma visits at a three-day lag. Low wet bulb temperature was linked to higher emergency department visit rates, plausibly through cold, dry air causing airway hyper-responsiveness. Extremely low wind speed periods had significantly more asthma emergency department visits.
