Better positive health was associated with a higher likelihood of working in bivariate analysis. Work participation differed significantly across disorder groups, with inflammatory bowel disease patients having the highest rate. Disorder subgroup did not significantly improve explanation of work participation after positive health dimensions were included. Adding positive health dimensions substantially improved the model explaining work participation.
